Development Manager – Inkjet

Main duties and responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the development of our EFI Inkjet position throughout Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Brazil. He/she will be responsible for selling EFI Inkjet suite of products and services with assigned partners and accounts.

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales target for EFI;
  • Grow, build and establish a dominant EFI position within direct sales;
  • Sell the EFI Inkjet product line offerings to existing and new customers;
  • SDMs to expand the EFI business within direct sales;
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with customers;
  • Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly meeting to review current pipeline, product mix and competitive reviews;
  • Provide weekly report on activity;
  • Conduct monthly conference calls to ensure we are linked in all of our efforts for the quarter;
  • Effectively execute EFI major product launches;
  • Coordinate and provide accurate forecasting to EFI Sales Management;
  • Develop, assist and execute approved account plans and budgets;
  • Assist in the communication and execution EFI sales and marketing campaigns;
  • Optimize communications and relationship with Managers, Engineering, Marketing and team members;
  • Analyze sales reports and adjust activities in line with product mix sales targets;
  • Minimum of 50% in travel;
  • Lead generation maintenance calling for all leads generated to establish business relationship;
  • Perform Prospecting Activities and maintain a sufficient base of prospects that will enable completion of sales targets;
  • Prospecting activities include cold calling, proposal writing, product demonstrations, and customer analysis and needs assessment;
  • Participate in and successfully complete all sales training required by management;
  • Quickly develop expertise and knowledge of assigned territory, competitors, products, services and customers;
  • Lead and participate in the customer problem resolution.
  • Keep EFI CRM updated weekly

Job Requirements:

  • Sales experience with proven track record of successful sales performance;
  • Skills in direct and indirect sales (dealer/distributor);
  • Graphic Arts / Printing industry experience;
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills, proactiveness, autonomous;
  • Ability to develop business contacts and relationships at all levels of an organization;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the market trends;
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills;
  • Product sales experience in the printing industry;
  • Ability to manage the account at a high level within the assigned region;
  • Must have excellent presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Expertise in complete sales cycle management – prospect identification, qualification, proposal and close;
  • Ability to handle complex technical sales cycles;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Good understanding of Inkjet pricing practices, ROI, TCO and selling skills;
  • Good understanding of customer print operation and Inkjet Wide Format product knowledge.
